Hot Spots

Nature Storyteller > Hot Spots

Hot spot? It’s not about connecting your WiFi for sure. However, it is for connecting you with the rich biodiversity in a region.

In simple terms, a hot spot is a place that is rich in floral and faunal species. It consists of a very complex food web where every species is interconnected with the other. Any imbalance in this food web leads to a series of chain reactions and eventually lead to the destruction of a hot spot which may be a habitat to thousands of species in the area.

Why did we bring hot spots for you?

In this section, we will bring those places to you where you can head out on a vacation and experience nature in its raw form. These places are primarily, forests, wetlands, lakes, biodiversity parks, sanctuaries, national parks, forest reserves, etc.

At Nature Storyteller, we have made two classifications in this category – Indian Hot Spots and International Hot Spots.

Under Indian Hot Spots, we have covered forests, wetlands, riverine ecosystem, city parks, and any place where rich biodiversity is found around the year in India. For example, Corbett Tiger Reserve, Keoladeo National Park, Chillika Lake, Andaman Forests, Little Rann of Kutchchh, Dhanauri Wetlands, etc.

Under International Hot Spots, we have covered all such biodiversity hotspots that are outside India. If you plan on an International Wildlife Trip, you can find out more about that place here before you make active plans for it. Some of the most common International Biodiversity Hotspots include Amazon Rainforests, Masai Mara, Alaska, Tropical Forests of Costa Rica, Australian Forests, etc.

We aim to tell you our experiences about those places, what species to find, what to expect, best season to visit, how to reach, staying options and other relevant details along with a number of beautiful photographs.

We Nature Storytellers, keep on visiting these places and thus can bring you the hands-on experience about that place. In case you want to accompany us on some of those destinations, do check out in the Trips section for upcoming trips and excursions. In case you want to suggest to us for any such place that you want to visit with us, do let us know here.
